Re: 2021 Price Increase

To All Kingston Valves Customers:

Due to the continuing price increases on raw material costs and logistics costs, we at Kingston Valve must regrettably issue a price increase on all valve products effective on Tuesday, June 1st, 2021. The major raw material components of brass are copper and zinc. Copper costs have doubled in the last 12-18 months and zinc has increased 58%. On the logistics’ side of the equation, container sea freight, air freight and domestic freight cost are all skyrocketing.

We will honor pricing on all orders placed prior to this date, however, all quotes made prior to this date will expire and must be re-priced with the new increase. All negotiated discounts to list pricing will remain in force.

Kingston has not implemented a comprehensive price increase since October 1st, 2018 and we are constantly improving internal processes to better serve our customers and control costs. While Kingston expects the trend in global commodity prices to continue to rise, we will only increase prices as a last resort. We continually strive to provide the best value possible for our customers and understand the challenges faced by all businesses in today’s global economy.
