Normally Open - Quick Closing Valves

The KINGSTON Fig. 425 steam valve is specifically designed for industrial cleaning, automatic carwash and other saturated steam or hot water applications. Valves are available in l/4", l/2", 3/4", I", l-1/4", l-1/2" and 2" female pipe thread sizes. Rated for 150 PSIG maximum saturated steam service.

The valve body is of heavy cast brass with stainless steel seat insert, spring and stem, Teflon disc and stem packing. Available with "squeeze" or "pull" type lever for operation.

Air actuators are available for remote operation. The Figure 330B, diaphragm type actuator, shown below is recommended for the l/2" through 1Ľ" sizes. Maximum pressure to the actuator, 100 PSIG.

Piston type actuators are available for all sizes.

End use of KINGSTON products is the sole responsibility of the user.

To order, indicate valve size, type lever or less lever bracket and pin. Indicate actuator as needed. (Ordering codes below.)

Size code: -2 = l/4", -4 = l/2", -5 = 3/4", -6 = I", -7 = l-1/4", -8 = 1 -l/2", -9 = 2".
Lever code: -1 = Squeeze Lever, -2 = Pull Lever, -3 = Less Le-ver bracket & pin.
